Too Much Sex In Society?

A few days ago I came across this widely publicised article study declaring that 1 in 4 teenage girls in the United States have contracted atleast one STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) due to their sex lives and it floored me. A couple days later I read another article where the Dutch want to legalise sex in public places, specifically their parks and I'm thinking; what in the world is happening?

I'm sure you've all come across one or few people in your lives who insist that there is too much showing of flesh etc in our times but do these startling facts support that - or am I blowing this out of proportion?

How is that atleast 3million American girls are sleeping around, or have slept with a guy who indulges in multiple sex partners? Have we become a society, of literally, whores?

Ofcourse we all have our limits to what we perceive as offensive or distasteful, as do I, but I think the bigger issue here is not really what is happening but our attitude towards it. We've become so sexually liberal over the past few decades, blanketing that with 'freedom of expression, that we've lost our moral principles. Nowdays we cheer and admire men who make it some sort of personal mission to bed as many women as they possibly can in a week, or women who dress so loosely - they think wearing a transparent-blouse with a thong showing behind this tiny piece of material they see as a mini-skirt as "covering up".

The New York governer who recently resigned in shame was running around prostitutes, whilst his replacement admits that in his marriage he and his wife have had several affairs and shortly afterwards another study is released that in America - almost 25% of marriages suffer from infidelity. And here we are today, desensitized to it all - allowing that to just drop and we forget what is right and what is wrong. Where is the outcry in our society when things like this happen? No where.

We're too busy playing games that they themselves now have begun to reflect society's perception of sex; we become more and more desensitized to it. The media, in our TV shows and movies, will argue that they're just reflecting our world and not encouraging one thing or another but we see them and grow up with them, with the impression that "this is what happens, its okay".

It's not.

There needs to be a change of our attitude and it doesn't seem like too many people either care or really agree that we are too liberal with that subject. I find that depressing.

I don't believe that Sex is the only thing increasing in our society, Murder, Rape and harmful acts against children are also on the rise on a worldly scale.

The main reason I see this happen is because of lousy parenting. there was a time where parents would dread the moment that their son or daughter was about to enter their teen years because that meant that "THE TALK" was soon upon them. But at least parents back then tired to explain the birds and the bees to their children, the real good ones would go into detail about everything that can come from having relations at such a young age and that for the most part was enough to make most kids think before they acted on what their bodies were telling them to do.

Now a days we don't see that anymore, in a society that seems to want the elected government to take care of all it problems, children seem to be thrown into the mix of "Problems" that parents want the government to handle, but the government and parents are basically following the "Don't do as I do and do as I say" approach which never works. As today media outlets such as Television, radio and Videogames become more open and liberal, this isn't the time where parents need to count on someone else to raise their kids, this is the time where "THE TALK" needs to happen more and more often which is sad in more ways then one, since now we are in a society that is not allowing for our children to remain children. But with proper supervision our children can have a childhood which all children deserve and be allowed to grow up responsible and with a right mind in their heads.

If we continue to see parents take a hands-off approach in the way they raise their children we can all expect to see more rapes and murders and horrible acts committed against children from adults that were never allowed a proper childhood.

well, please give me your point of view. thats the way I view why all these acts are on the rise. Especially in the U.S.

give your perspective and we can discuss this further.

This is a surprise. Now Switch 2 version has 2 modes. Quality targets 30fps ( but during test it is running between 35-39fps) and performance mode that targets 60fps.. In comparison, Series S only has 30fps mode.

Review - God of War: Sons of Sparta (PS5) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Leo Faria: "God of War: Sons of Sparta is a very interesting prologue to the series as a whole, and a welcome return to the franchise’s original Greek setting, but as a metroidvania… I mean, it’s good, but it’s nothing I haven’t seen and played dozens of times before, especially in a post-Silksong and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. But I still love the fact it exists. The fact it’s somewhat unambitious and smaller in scope might actually be my favorite thing about it. This is a type of game I missed from Sony, something more focused, streamlined, to the point. I’d rather have three or four games like Sons of Sparta a year then yet another live service whose servers will be shut off after just two or three months."
